By Scott Taylor Plainfield North outscored Plainfield Central Tuesday night 10-1 in the fourth quarter in a 37-23 win at Central. The Tigers led 27-22 after three quarters and that was the score early in the fourth quarter when the game’s turning point took place. District 202 raises the bar in the fall

After a successful spring season filled with firsts, the fall season just trumped it, putting Plainfield sports on an upward trajectory. The highlight of the fall was, of course, the Plainfield North football team advancing to the state championship game, being the first district team to do so in the sport. The previous best finish was in 2000 when Plainfield Central made it to the quarterfinals.
